Hello and welcome to Women Who Feel Good!
My name is Joanne Mayhead and I live in south of the UK with my husband and 2 children. I’m a certified International Law of Attraction Coach with Sandy Forster’s Inspired Spirit Coaching Academy with 20+ years of experience in personal coaching and development.
Apart from spending time with the most important people in my life, I love to inspire women who are tired of feeling that they are ‘not enough’, want to feel good about who they are and align themselves with a life they love.
Why Women Who Feel Good?
Emotions are everything. They way we feel from moment to moment is everything. Focusing on feeling good as much as possible is the fastest path to creating a life we love. I love to help women make peace with where they are, take responsibility for what they create and show them how to write a new story for their life.
In short, feeling good is the fastest path to attracting more good things into our lives.
… and when the contrast of life means we don’t feel so good, we simply need to look for relief instead.
We are all manifesting all the time in one way or another…
To some degree we are all manifesting our desires in some way all the time – whether that is in a positive or negative way. We all have parts of our lives that seem to go so well and are in the most part pretty effortless – whether it be our relationships with others, money, our health or our careers. It is no accident that these things go well for us. Our beliefs and thoughts in the areas that go well will usually feel natural and have very little or no resistance – and we usually love those parts of our lives. We may rarely talk about these areas, they don’t generally dominate our thoughts except for us to appreciate them and we always expect them to go to plan.
Then we may have one or two areas of our lives that don’t ever seem to go right – our relationships are tense, money seems tight, our health isn’t as good as it could be or going to work seems like a miserable daily grand. These areas are usually the ones that dominate our thoughts but in a not so positive way. We might analyse them a lot with others, complain about them all the time or have a lot of underlying fear when we think about them. We know that things never go our way with these particular areas so we don’t expect anything more than for them to always be a struggle.
We get what we expect…
So each and every one of us is already creating our lives in one way or another and each and every one of us will already have more miracles in our lives than we can possible count – no matter how big or little. Ultimately, we get what we expect!
Harnessing the law of attraction is about finding a way to flick the switch on the things that aren’t going so well but we don’t have to fix them all overnight. We can start by shining the biggest spotlight we can muster on the amazing parts of our lives instead – aiming to feel as good as possible, appreciating what we already have, focusing more on what we ‘do’ want rather than what we ‘don’t’ and learning to let go of the struggle and allow more.
Perfection not required…
… and guess what – you are never going to get it perfectly right. Whilst I believe that we can do so much to create our own reality, I also think we need to keep it real when it comes to what we expect from ourselves and being kind to ourselves is one of the most important things we can do, no exceptions!
Life will always throw challenges at you regardless of how good you feel about everything, you will never think perfect thoughts each and every day or behave in a perfect way each and every day and that is good – we are only human after all and there is not one of us, even the big gurus out there who live life perfectly.
However, you can make plenty of small shifts in your thinking and introduce some positive daily habits that can make all the difference.
So I hope you get as much out of spending some time here as I do from posting content and tools that I think will help you appreciate so much and create a life that you love.
